Amanda Smith, DVM

We are excited to share that Dr. Smith is back on Fridays!

She had her baby and has been going strong at her own clinic Willow Tree in Port Orchard, but missed us so much she wanted to come back one day a week.

Dr. Amanda Smith grew up in Port Orchard, Washington and attended veterinary school at Oklahoma State University. Immediately following graduation, Dr. Smith proudly served as a veterinarian in the United States Army for three years before returning home to Port Orchard.

Dr. Smith’s professional interests are varied, and this initially drew her to practice in emergency and critical care in a multi-specialty referral center. It was in that practice that she first met Dr. Tripp and her interest in veterinary oncology blossomed. In the spring of 2014, she began to practice oncology under Dr. Tripp’s mentorship.

In her free time, Dr. Smith enjoys baking, jigsaw puzzles, and home renovation projects. She is married to her high school sweetheart Adam and they have 6 children. They share their home with two dogs, four cats, and a bunny.
