Gonioscopy
Goniscopy can be useful in screening dogs for congenital malformations of the drainage angle which can be a precursor to developing glaucoma later in life. There are certain breeds that are at higher risks of having congenital malformations of the drainage angle such as American Cocker Spaniels, Basset Hounds, Boston Terriers and Shar-peis. If you have a high risk puppy breed, it is best to get them evaluated by 6 months of age.
